The King dismissed his concerns and ordered the extra row of guns. The Vasa made its maiden voyage, and its last, capsizing almost as soon as it was launched. They brought her up from the icy waters, almost intact; dismantled and then reassembled her in this museum, dedicated to her short and ill-fated life.
